Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MTR.AI ("the Service"), operated by VLX ("we," "our," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

MTR.AI is an AI-powered compliance verification tool for Mill Test Reports (MTRs). The Service extracts data from uploaded documents and compares values against published material specifications. MTR.AI is a verification aid — it does not replace qualified engineering judgment or official certification processes.

Use of the Service

You agree to:

  • •Use the Service only for lawful purposes related to material compliance verification
  • •Upload only documents you are authorized to process
  • •Not attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or derive source code from the Service
  • •Not use the Service to process documents containing classified or export-controlled information without appropriate authorization

Accuracy and Limitations

While MTR.AI strives for high accuracy in document parsing and compliance verification, the Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. Specifically:

  • •Compliance verdicts are based on the data extracted from uploaded documents and the specification rules in our database
  • •The Service does not verify the authenticity or accuracy of the source documents themselves
  • •Users should review all compliance reports and exercise independent engineering judgment before making acceptance decisions

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, algorithms, and specification database, is the intellectual property of VLX. Your uploaded documents remain your property. We do not claim ownership of any documents you upload or the data contained within them.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VLX and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding any claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VLX and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
